Bishop Ralph Heskett

Bishop Heskett was ordained priest on 10 July 1976 in the Redemptorist parish in
Sunderland. He served the Redemptorist of the London Province over the years
in a number of different roles: Parish and School Missions, Retreats, Parish
ministry and Formation, as Novice Master and Postulant Master at different times.
The motto of the Redemptorists is “Corpiosa Apud eum Redemptio” (With Him
there is Plentiful Redemption). The proclamation of this message was at the
heart of his ministry as a Redemptorist and continues to be today.
He was ordained Bishop of Gibraltar on 10 July 2010 and installed as Bishop of
Hallam on 10 July 2014.
